Environmental Public Health Specialist: The Phelps/Maries County Health Department has openings for full-time and/or part-time Environmental Public Health Specialist(s) (EPHS). The EPHS will work both in office and off-site conducting inspections and complaint investigations of food establishments, lodging facilities, daycare facilities, and on-site waste water treatment systems.
The EPHS will also work and/or help coordinate efforts to assist with public health emergency and disaster response as needed (truck wrecks, fires, power outages, floods, etc.)
The EPHS will work alongside other EPHS staff, EPHS Secretary, Office Manager, Health Director, State of Missouri Environmental Health Service staff, as well as other county health department environmental staff as needed.
